Coaching, not medical care
Beyond Habits provides health and behavior-change coaching. Marcela Freeman is a certified personal trainer, certified professional life coach, behavior change specialist and IIN certified health coach.
She is not a physician, nurse, psychologist, therapist, registered dietitian or licensed medical provider. Nothing offered through this site or through coaching diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any medical condition, and nothing here is a prescription or a substitute for care from a qualified professional.
Talk to your doctor first
Please consult your physician or an appropriate licensed provider before making changes to your nutrition, movement, supplementation, sleep or health routine — particularly if you are pregnant or nursing, managing a medical condition, taking medication, recovering from injury or surgery, or have a history of disordered eating.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.
Results are individual
Health outcomes depend on factors well beyond any coaching program — genetics, medical history, life circumstances, consistency and much else. We make no guarantee of weight loss, body composition change, or any other specific health outcome. Any stories or examples shared reflect individual experiences and are not a promise of what you will experience.
Mental health
Coaching is not therapy or mental-health treatment. If you are struggling with your mental health, disordered eating or your relationship with food or your body, please reach out to a licensed mental-health professional. We will always encourage you to do so.
Your decisions remain yours
Coaching is collaborative. Marcela brings expertise, structure, strategy and accountability; you bring your goals, your circumstances and your judgment. Decisions about your health, and responsibility for acting on any information provided, remain yours.
